Donna Beavers Rempe

In loving memory of Donna Beavers Rempe, a cherished soul who departed from this world surrounded by her family on June 29, 2024, in Lancaster. Donna was born on April 26, 1944, in the same city she called home throughout her life.

Donna will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family and her firm belief in the power of faith. She had a remarkable way of expressing her love and care to everyone around her, always putting needs of others above her own. Donna's independent and strong-willed nature was complemented by her deep-rooted connection to nature which she cherished dearly.

Throughout her life, Donna cultivated beautiful memories with her loved ones. Her passion for board games brought joy and laughter to family gatherings, and her expertise in gardening and sauce-making left an indelible mark on those she taught. Even as her grandchildren pursued higher education, she never failed to call them whenever "The Wizard of Oz" played on TV.

A proud mother who worked tirelessly to support her children, Donna's proudest accomplishment was witnessing her family thrive and succeed in their endeavors while upholding strong values of citizenship.

Donna was fortunate to be surrounded by family in her final moments, offering solace and comfort as she journeyed into eternity. She now joins her parents and son, Joe Rempe, in the eternal embrace of peace.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished by those who survive her. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Melissa (Mark) Sladoje; grandchildren Mandy (Jeff) Kasza and Greyson Rempe; great-grandchild Max Kasza; sister Carolyn (Neel) Stalder; nieces Holly (Doug) Morgan and Molly (Eric) Myers; and daughter-in-law Meghan Rempe.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Donna Beavers Rempe will be held on July 3, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lancaster. The service will commence at 11:30 AM as we gather to celebrate the beautiful life lived by a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many. Visitation will take place from 1030 until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Forest Rose cemetery.
