Donald G. Wyer

Donald “Don” G. Wyer, age 90 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away with loved ones by his side on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Pickering House. He was born on June 1, 1930 to the late William H. and Lena Faye Wyer.

Don was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.  He retired from Ohio State University Hospitals.

He was an avid woodworker and created many beautiful gifts for family and friends that will long be cherished.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Rose (Sbrochi); daughters, Catherine (Jim) Morrison and Linda (Todd) Manifold; son, William (Susan) Wyer; grandchildren, Jennifer (James) Lannan, Chris (Rhiannon) Vandelay, Michelle (Nick) Williams, Jordan Prosise, Andrew (Wariya) Prosise, Evan (Megan) Prosise, Alex Prosise, Cadence Wyer, Isaiah Wyer, Jeremy Wyer, Christopher Wyer, and Christina Wyer; great grandchildren, Mina, Tristan and Dorian Lannan.

The family would like to thank the staff of FairHoPe Hospice for the dignity, care and compassion they provided to Don.
