Donald Tufts

Donald Tufts 62 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving family by his side. He was born in West Virginia on June 17, 1961.

Donald enjoyed working on muscle cars of all types.  In his earlier years, he loved to work on bicycles, lawn mowers and later motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Christine; children, Larissa (Jon) Carroll and Adam (Maria) Tufts all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jonathan Carrol, Abigail Carroll, Jackson Carroll, Miles Carroll and Rihanna Tufts; mother, Linda Tufts of Lancaster; brothers, Jamie Tufts and Tom (Renee’) Tufts all of Lancaster; sister, Cindy (Rex) Herring of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Alice Lutz of Lancaster; best friend Danny Gibson and his canine companion, Tommy.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Tufts, Sister, Lisa Smith, father-in-law, Gary Lutz and brother-in-law, Gary Lutz, Jr.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the Independence Event Center, 1776 Cedar Hill Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREAMTORY, LANCASTER, OHIO.
