Donald E. Tinnermann

Donald E. Tinnermann 78 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 15, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Anthony and Alma Tinnermann.  

Don was a graduate of Columbus West High School in 1963.  He was an US Army veteran and a retired firefighter-paramedic with 30 years of service from Upper Arlington Fire Department.

He loved his family dearly and cherished family time.  He enjoyed the Buckeyes, Browns, Reds, Indians and all things Apple Valley and Cape Hatteras. Don was a member and frequent volunteer at the Baltimore VFW Post #3761, member of the Baltimore Loyal Order of Moose #2321 and a life member of the Columbus AMVETS #2000.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Tinnermann of Millersport; daughter, Lisa (Shawn) Williamson of Newark; grandchildren, Connor, Landon, Weston, Allyson and Ghent and great-grandchildren, Landon and Laney.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 50 years, Jan Tinnermann in 2023 brother, Paul (Marty) Tinnermann and a sister, Sandra Ricker.

Caring Cremation® has taken place by the JOHNONS-SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, BALTIMORE, OHIO.  As per Don’s request cremation, without any services. His cremains will be placed in a memorial bench at Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio.

Memorial gifts may be given to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in his memory.
