Donald Lee Kiger, 77, of Sugar Grove, passed away on October 9, 2017. He was born in Lancaster on November 25, 1939 to the late Paul and Julia Kiger.
Donald was a true entrepreneur starting several businesses in his lifetime. He was also an active motorcycle enthusiast, worldwide traveler, professional motorcycle racer, life member of the American Motorcycle Association, and a founding father of the Central Ohio Competition Riders.
Donald is survived by his sons, Donnie Kiger, and Andrew (Christa) Kiger; grandchildren, Austin, Dallas, Andrew, Jacob, Noah, Maximus, and Samson; great grandchildren, Leo and Serenity; brothers, James Kiger, and Larry (Judy) Kiger; sister Ruth (Dan) Keller; and Special Friend, Linda Daubenmire.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, James Michael Kiger; brothers, Robert Paul Kiger, and Kenneth (Nita) Kiger.
A funeral service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 12 p.m. Friends and family may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Burial will follow the service at Forest Rose Cemetery.
