Dolores Vaughan

Dolores J. Lowry Vaughan 84 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Pickering House.
She was retired from Lancaster City Schools where she worked in the cafeteria for over 30 years and a member of Grace United Church of Christ.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Vaughan; children, Terrie (Mike) Vaughan Meenach of Independence, KY and Tracy (Chris Wright) Vaughan of Lancaster, OH; grandchildren, Morgan, Evan, Lydia and Andrew; sisters, Margaret Muckensturm and Phyllis Claypool both of Lancaster, OH; brother, William (Donna) Lowry of FL; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Vaughan, Jr. and parents, George and Elizabeth Lowry.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster with Rev. Melinda Quellhorst officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11-1p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OH 43130.
