Dennis Lewis

Dennis L. Lewis, age 71 of Lancaster passed away surrounded by his family, September 12th, 2018 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Earnest and Jeannine Villeval Lewis in Mt. Vernon on April 13th, 1947. He retired from Anchor Hocking after 43 years as a Master Welder. Dennis was a member of Angler’s Paradise who enjoyed the outdoors, loved working on cars, and was an amazing fabricator. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Dennis will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Spung Lewis; sons, Travis G. Lewis, Ben E. (Anna) Lewis, and Ryan A. (Kristian) Lewis; grandchildren, Ryan Jr. (Chelsey), Caleb, Chance, Madison, and Brittany; step grandchildren, Zak and Brent; great grandchildren, Hank L. and Aurora G.; sibling, Maurice “Butch” Lewis; several nieces and nephews; and four legged friends Yogi, Zoe, Solo, and Red Horsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and special friend Ford the Basset.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 1:30PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Caring Cremation™ will follow the service.
