Deloris E. Fischer 81 of Lancaster, Ohio former resident of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at The Pickering House. She retired from Western-Electric in Columbus, Ohio.
She is survived by her children, Harold (Lydia) Fischer, Jr. and Carol (William) Solomon all of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Elissa (Eric) Kellett of Lancaster, Ohio, Amy (Scott) Madan of Baltimore, Ohio, Rebecca Fischer and Ezekiel Fischer all of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Luke (Julie) Solomon and William (Teresa) Solomon all of Baltimore, Ohio; great grandchildren, Amber Landis, Jordan and Iris Kellett, Emily, Sarah and Jack Madan, Patrick Baker, Ethan Shirk, Taylor Fischer, Ginger, Olivia and Coby Solomon; great-great grandchildren, Cole Jackson and Ethan Eckman; brother, Jack (Carol) Wygal of West Virginia; sisters, Margaret (Joe) Lorenzo of Virginia, Betty Waddell of Columbus, Ohio and Kay (Jess) Lay of West Virginia; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fischer, Sr., parents, Emmett and Texas Wygal, sisters, Nancy Acord and Helen Rose.
A memorial service will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Steve Rauch of Pleasant Chapel Church officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
