Delores A Tidd

Delores (Dee) Arlene Farson Tidd of Lancaster went home to Jesus on October 6, 2022, at age 91. Dee was born to Herman and Wineva Farson on May 15, 1931 in Keithtown, Ohio. Dee was a hard worker, kind, and always thought of others first. Dee married her husband, Walter C. Tidd, on August 19,1950 and had two children, Cheryl and Steve. In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Dee also loved fishing and reading. In her 60's she surprised her family by learning inline skating and riding a water sled behind a ski boat. Throughout her entire life, Dee held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those around her. She prayed faithfully that each family member would follow Christ's teaching and join her in Heaven one day.

Dee is survived by her husband Walter, daughter Cheryl (Michael Nevels) Farson, son Steve (Barbara), two grandchildren Andrew Tidd and Roberta Joann Tidd, and three great-grandchildren Olivia, Layla and Landon.  Dee was preceded in death by her parents, brother Melvin, and sisters Pat Garrett, Evelyn Chapman, and Donna Henthorne. Surviving siblings include: Leona Woodford, Shirley (Ron) Sigman, Imogene Henthorne, and Joan Brown. The family wishes to thank Fairhope Hospice for the excellent care Dee received.
