Della Burgoon

Della Joann Burgoon, age 82, of Carroll, died at her residence on September 1st, 2015. She was born in Sugar Grove to the late, Charles and Minnie Bigham Jackson, on March 31, 1933. She retired from Anchor Hocking. She was the youngest of 19 children. Della loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Della is survived by her sons, Charles (Christena) Burgoon and Rodney (Cheryl) Burgoon; daughter, Bonnie (Joe) Bowles; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Patty Burgoon; granddaughter, Jillian Burgoon; and 18 brothers and sisters.
A service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Friday at 10 AM, officiated by Rev. Edward Wright. A committal service will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 PM until 8PM and one hour prior, Friday at the funeral home.
