Deborah Kay Canter, 62, of Lancaster, passed away on September 30, 2018 at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on October 25, 1955 to the late Thomas and Joann Fowler.
She loved to color, sew, knit, and was a great cook. Deborah was a nurse for over 20 years. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rudy Cox, Danny (Debie) Cox, Tammy (Brad) Groves, Chris Cox, Curtis (Stephanie) Canter, and Dustin Haney; grandchildren, Korben Canter, Serenity Canter, Travis Cox, Blaze, Kyle Pillar, Chevie Gemienhardt, Tyler Cox, Chloe Snoke, Jayme Smith, Katie Smith, Karlie Cox, and Kaycie Cox; cousins, Anita and John Holmes; and brother, Thomas Fowler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Johnia Fowler.
Caring Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, Oh, 43130. Family and friends may visit from 5 P.M. until the time of service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the family care of the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
