David Brehm

David Brehm, 77, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Fairfield Medical Center.

David served in the U.S. Marine Corps and he was a member of Maple Street United Methodist Church in Lancaster. David was active for over 30 years with the Boy Scouts of America and many years with the Lancaster Pigeon Club. He also enjoyed golfing and hunting.

David is survived by his wife, Charlene Brehm; sons, Rory (Lori) Brehm, Jay (Holly) Brehm, Shawn (Bonnie) Brehm, and Jeremy (Kristin) Brehm; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Dawn (Richard) Weaver; and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alma Brehm and Thelma and Howard Williams; and brothers, Norman Brehm and Michael Brehm.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with David’s grandson, Anthony Brehm and niece, Reverend Melodie Rezac officiating. Burial will follow in Amanda Township Cemetery with military honors by the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of David to Maple Street United Methodist Church, 438 E. Wheeling St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
