David Bennett

David Bennett, 77, of Amanda, passed away on December 30, 2023 in Lancaster, OH at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Donald and Doris Bennett on December 2, 1946 in Athens, OH.

David was a loving husband and father. He was a hard worker, with over 54 years working in concrete for Scioto Darby Concrete and Mansfield Flooring.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Bennett; siblings, Bud (Linda) Bennett, Katheryn Kyle, and Susan Bennett-Wolfe; children, Charlie Bennett, Irene (Jeff) Sams, Melissa (Brian) Costigan, Jared Bennett, Renee (Matt Price) Bash, and Sheila Bennett; thirteen grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Bennett; ex-wife, Margaret (Brookover) Bennett, brothers-in-law, Carl “Butch” Ackerman and Glenn Hay; and parents.
