Dave M. Rice, 65, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012, at Fairfield Medical Center.
Dave worked at Anchor Hocking in the furnace room for 20 years and RCA in Circleville for 15 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He loved fishing, camping, bowling, and being with his grandchildren. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
Dave is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen; mother, Irene Rice; children, Kelli Rice, Holly Davis, and David (Tracy) Rice; grandchildren, Cameron, Tasha, Jayla, Trey, Reilly, Cohen, and Alahna; great grandson, Micah; brothers, Mark Rice and Bret (Peggy) Rice; and canine companion, Daisy.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Rice.
Dave shared the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Memorial gifts can be made in memory of Dave to Lifeline of Ohio, 770 Kinnear Rd., Suite 200, Columbus, OH 43212
Caring Cremation has taken place with the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster.
