Daniel Wilson Sr

Daniel C. Wilson, Sr. age 70 of Carroll, passed away June 12th, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 2nd, 1945 to the late, Raymond and Nellie Klinger Wilson in Lancaster. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church. A beloved Reds, and Ohio State fan who loved watching sports and was constantly between two games at once. He enjoyed traveling and going randomly to various destinations including Casinos and loved fishing. Daniel enjoyed playing various online games but enjoyed spending time with his family the most. He was a beloved Husband, Dad, and PaPa who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Greenlee Wilson; children, Jennifer (Mike) Markle, Daniel (Lori) Wilson Jr., Anthony (Kim) Wilson, and Angie (Steve) Bedell; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Don (Betty) Wilson, brother, Dale “Gene” (Ann) Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandchild.
The family would like to thank Dr. Saha for all the care and compasion she showed Dan all throughout his illness. The family will always remember this kindness and are very greatful for her going above and beyond in many different ways.

A funeral service will take place on Friday at 10:30AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor James Dexter. Caring Cremation™ will follow the service.
