Daniel "Danny" R. Taylor, age 59, of Baltimore, died at his residence on May 1st, 2015. He was born on April 11, 1954 to the late, Dr. Charles Robert and Wilda Marie Snider Taylor in Sullivan, Indiana. Dan had a degree as a mechanical engineer, who worked at a power plant in southern Ohio before finding his love of motorcycles. He then became a certified Harley Davidson mechanic. He went to work at Joe Carson Harley Davidson in Lancaster for several years. After working there, he became an independent mechanic working on Harleys out of his back garage in Baltimore, helping locals with their rides for several years.
Dan was a fun and boisterous individual, who told you what he thought. He enjoyed shooting guns, cracking his whip, and enjoyed living life and being with his friends as much as possible. The stories he told, along with his unique personality, will live on in all his friends' memories. Dan's wit and laughter will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Taylor of Sullivan, IN; sister, Catheryn Sue (Thomas) Ryan of Greenwood, IN; niece, Megan Ryan; and nephew, Thomas Ryan.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
