Daniel Kraft, 57, of Pleasantville, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Fairfield Medical Center.
Daniel was co-owner of Bay Food Market and Packing in Lancaster. He also worked as a farmer and a truck driver. He was a 1972 graduate of Liberty Union High School. Daniel was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Patty Kraft; children, Danyelle (fiancé Nathan Terry) Kraft, Daniel Joseph D.J. (Amber) Kraft, and Tera (fiancé Mike Copley) Naayers; grandchildren, Bobby, Destinee, Gavin, Shane, Mckenzie, Brenia, Mason, and Alexis; siblings, Karen (Ric) Crutcher and David Kraft; nieces and nephews, Forrest (Christina) Wallace, Micole (Jeremy) Ruff, Bryan (Ashley) Kraft, and David Ford; aunts, Paula Sis McCarty and Alice Snider; and many cousins.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Chum and Kathleen Kraft; many aunts and uncles; and nephew, Christopher Wallace.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore. Burial will follow in Basil Memorial Cemetery, Baltimore. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
