Daniel Cox

Daniel T. Cox, age 52, of Lancaster died April 25th, 2014 at his residence. He was born to Carl and Shirley Hopper Cox, on November 13th, 1961 in Cincinnati. He worked as an electrician specializing in lighting for Sylvania, A and K Lighting, Trio Lighting, and Dibold. Daniel loved life, enjoyed listening to Rock and Roll, target shooting, and watching his beloved OSU Buckeyes.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Lisa Cox of Lancaster; step-sons, Jessie and Joshua Davis both of Columbus, and Robert Davis of Lancaster; father, Carl Cox of FL; brothers, Dale Cox of FL and Kevin (Diane) Cox of Columbus; sister, Lisa Cox of Lewisville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hopper Cox and brother, Steve Cox.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2pm at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Lancaster, officiated by Carl Hartman. Burial will follow the service. Family and friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorials can be made in his name to any Cancer Research of your choosing.
