Dan L. Thomason, age 70 of Lancaster, died on October 29th, 2017 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late, Olen and Lyndall Shiers Thomason in Bell, CA on December 31st, 1946. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a maintenance engineer from Trident Seafood in Motley, MN, previously worked for Tyson Foods, and also was involved in factory building. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, and spending time with family and friends. Dan will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Diane Metcalf Thomason; sister, Donna (Charles) Barrett of Prescott, AZ; daughter, Fauna (Clint) Medley; grandchildren, Hailey and Casidey Medley; step children, Laura (Steve) Telfer, and Carol (Dan) Worrell; step-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ashley Telfer, and Thomas, Robert, Joseph, Nicholas, and Andrew Worrell; niece and nephew, Charlene (Ralph) Pena and Guy Barrett; and special friends, Bob and Cherie Koch.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jo Ann Thomason; and brother, Dwayne Thomason.
