Dale Jay Williams

Dale Jay Williams 85 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on August 22, 1936 t the late Russell and Mildred Williams.

Dale was a retired mill wright for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. with 33 years of service then later worked for Owens Corning in Newark, Ohio.  He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. and was a member of Olivedale Senior Citizens Center, Amvets and the YMCA.

Dale is survived by his daughters, Kelly Williams (Tim) Swingle of Pleasantville, Ohio and Victoria Williams of Lancaster, Ohio; son, Ricky (Christy) Williams of Hebron, Ohio; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Carolyn Williams, wife, Irene Williams, son, Terry Williams and parent.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Mark Linn officiating. Burial will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.  Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
