Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Wolfinger 55 of Lancaster, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Pickering House surrounded by her loving family.
She was a long time member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Hospice volunteer, dental hygienist at Family Health Care in McCarthur and activities director with Reflections Retirement Facility. She was a graduate of The Ohio State University Class of 1979. Cindy always puts her heart into everything she did.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Walter; son, Dan Wolfinger of Lancaster; brother, Tom Weimer of Lodi, Ohio; sister, Amy Weimer of Lancaster, Ohio; several in laws; a niece; two nephews; her very dear friends and “sisters” of Alpha Delta Pi of The Ohio State University
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruth Ann Weimer, sister, Yvonne (Weimer) Schierbaum of Lancaster and a niece, Jessica Weimer of Lodi.
She was treasured by everyone who knew her, Cindy had an incredible sense of humor that made it fun to be around her. She will always be remembered for her wonderful ability to sing and make music and share her gifts with others through the Evening Rose Group.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Gideon as celebrant. Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church in classroom 1.
