Cynthia L. Meachem

Cynthia Lea Meachem, 54, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was born February 5, 1969 to Robert and Judith Meachem.

Before her illness, Cynthia worked as a home health aide for Interim Health. She loved being outdoors. Some of her favorite hobbies included fishing, mushroom hunting, going on boat rides, and especially swimming. Cynthia also loved spending time with her family, whom she loved wholeheartedly. 

Cynthia is survived by the love of her life, Daniel Beardsley; her mother, Judy Meachem; her children, Amber (Shawn) Moreland, Brandy, Miranda, Harlee, and Haley Beardsley, and a step child Bradley (Christina) Beardsley; siblings, Sherry Tracy, Tony, Robert and Timothy Meachem; 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ellis Meachem; step son, Brandon Beardsley, and grandparents, Agnes and Fred Grove.

Cynthia’s family would like to thank Fairhope Hospice and Pallative Care for all the care and support they received. 

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 6-8 PM at the Frank E Smith Funeral Home. Per Cynthia’s wishes, Caring Cremation will take place.
