Craig Michael Snedden age 59 from Hide A Way Hills, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on June 11, 2021. Craig is survived by his love of 36 years Tina Brown, daughter Michelle (Steve) Gaddis of Georgia, his loving mother Annetta “Diane” Snedden and his big brother Scott Snedden both of Delaware, Ohio, His Uncle Denny and Aunt Gretchen Duling of New York, 8 grandchildren, many in-laws, many nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his father David Maxwell Snedden, sister in law Tammy Snedden and granddaughter Adalyn Gaddis. Craig dearly loved his community in Hide A Way Hills and was so happy to have lived here for the last 26 years full time. He loved the peacefulness of living in the woods as well as all of the social gatherings in HAH. He loved all of his neighbors. He was a member of Moose #955 in Lancaster, Ohio and also a member of Anglers Paradise Lake Club. Craig’s family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. William Wilmer, Dr. Michael Falkenhain and the staff at Hocking Hills Dialysis Center for taking such wonderful care of Craig for almost 18 years while on dialysis. Also a special thank you to Tina’s brother Gary Rugh for selflessly giving Craig one of his kidney’s in 2003, and an anonymous donor in 2010 for signing their driver’s license agreeing to be an organ donor.
Caring Cremation® has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will be held on July 17th at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel in the Pines in Hide A Way Hills located at 29042 Hide A Way Hills Road. The service will be given by Pastor Jeff Wick of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to the PKD foundation in his memory.
