Cory Allen Groff

Cory Allen Groff went to be with our Lord on Monday, July 31 2023 at his residence in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born on September 18, 1984, to Frank Groff and Tamara Riffle.

He had the soul of a sage and the spirit of a child. Cory never met a stranger and had a great love for everyone. He was truly a blessing to all he touched.

Cory is survived by his parents, Tami and Frank; his children, Araya Sunshine, Corbyn Michael, and Noah Allen Groff; his siblings, Curt Groff, Kyle Cook, Jeffrey Strattonberger, and Aaron Moore; and a special friend, Kyle Wilburn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Curt and Wilma Bostic, and John F. Groff III.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Friends and Family may visit from 2-4 on Wednesday. Caring Cremation® will take place following the service.
