Clifton Byers, 71, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Pickering House.
Clifton was a long time member of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ. He also worked for 25 years as a supervisor for Crown-Zellerbach Paper Company.
Clifton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Byers; sons, Tim (Tami) Byers, Christopher (Elaine) Byers, and Stacy (Kimberly) Byers; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Poole; and brother, Harold Eddie Byers of Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ, Lancaster with David Tingler officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place with the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
The family requests no flowers.
