Cleo W. Seesholtz, age 94 of Lancaster, went to be with her Lord, May 30th, 2016 at Lanfair Nursing and rehabilitation. She was born in Rockbridge on March 1st, 1922 to the late William and Hattie Shaffer Kline. Cleo worked at Diamond Power and retired from Lancaster Glass. She was a member of the Lancaster United Brethren Church where she was active in the W.M.F. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flower beds, and bowled twice a week until she was 93. Cleo will be greatly missed.
She was survived by her daughters, Sally Moore and Stephanie (Arthur) Carmichael; grandchildren, Rebecca (Steve) Farmer, Robyn (Jason) Maurer, Joshua Carmichael, and Joel Carmichael; great grandchildren, Tyler, Mackenzie, Kaleb, Mahaley, Brenna, Marissa Kun Li, Dylan, Spencer, Natalie, and Matt Bronson; sister, Bonnie (Martin) Strawn; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ramon Seesholtz; brother, Lowell “Bud” Kline; and son-in-law, Karl Moore.
A funeral service will take place on Friday at 1:30 PM at the Lancaster United Brethren Church officiated by Pastor Greg Voight and Pastor Henry Caldwell. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8PM.
