Clara Shonebarger

Clara M. Shonebarger, age 80, of Lancaster, passed away at her residence Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was born to her parents, Ora and Anna Smith in Canal Winchester on Nov. 10th 1931. She was a 1948 graduate of Berne Union High School. She lived for her grand-babies and listening to her gospel music.
She is survived by her sons Raymond, and Robert (Laura) Shonebarger; daughter, Rebecca (Steve) Shonebarger-Bell; grandchildren, Mark, Michael (Amy), Rachel, Leah,and John Shonebarger, Stephanie (Todd) Brown, Ashley Bell, and Heather (Jason) Munsey; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Lewis) Paxton; brother, Paul Richard (Dorothea) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Shonebarger, parents, sisters, Agnes (Edward) Bailey, Florence (Elmer) Clark, Mary and Esther Smith; and brother Ora John Smith Jr.
A service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Friday at 10:30AM, officiated by Pastor Paul Wymmer. Burial will follow at St. Mathews Lutheran Cemetery.
