C. John Alan Petty

C. John Alan Petty, age 31 died on August 22, 2021.  He was born in Lancaster, on December 1st, 1989 to his mother, Vickie Larabee and father, Chris Petty.  John was a truck driver who greatly enjoyed traveling the country.  He was a gamer who greatly enjoyed spending time with his friends both on and offline. John had a great sense of humor..

He is survived by his mother Vickie Larabee; father, Chris (Rebecca) Petty; children, Alex and Elaina Petty; sisters, Angela Welsh, Amanda Cowen; brothers, Seth Petty and Chris Alan (Kasy) Petty II; step sisters, Gabby Muetzel and Vitajo Muetzel, step brother, Drake Muetzel, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, August 30th at 3PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Refuge Ministries, 438 E. Wheeling St. Lancaster, OH 43130.  www.funeralhome.com
