Chuck Daugherty, 75 of Baltimore, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012, at the Pickering House.
Chuck was a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 50. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the V.F.W. Chuck was an avid bowler and enjoyed competing in leagues. He also enjoyed hunting.
Chuck is survived by his children, Bette (Ken) Jungeberg, Phyllis (Clif) Wayland, Becky Murphy, Kenneth (Barry) Perdue, Elisa Ford, Freda (Jim) Fritz, and Don (Carol) Daugherty; grandchildren, Shawn (Jill) Shook, Dan Shook, John (Kathy) Jungeberg, David (Karri) Jungeberg, Philip Murphy, Jessica (Dan) Hedges, Dairic Thomas, Nicole (Jason) Daugherty, Ashleigh Daugherty, Jerod Daugherty, and Skylar Fritz; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Betty Kinnaman and Lucy Murray; special friend, Barb; and all the rest of the euchre gang.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wives, Joan Daugherty and Wanda Daugherty; sons, Bill Daugherty and Jim Webb; parents; special aunt, Grandma Reeves; and brother, Leonard Daugherty.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S Main St, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 with Pastor David Jungeberg officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster with the Baltimore Veterans Burial Detail performing military burial rights. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
