Charlotte "Charlie" Marjorie Upperman

Charlotte “Charlie” Marjorie Upperman passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 1, 2024 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Charlie made her way into this world 12 weeks early on August 2, 2024. She was born to Eric Upperman and Kathleen Heimbigner. 

Even though Charlie wasn’t here for long, she made an impact on so many lives and will continue to do so. Charlie will help many people in the future because her heart is being used for research. Charlie was a big diva, to her family and the nurses who cared for her. She was loved by everyone who was around her and will be incredibly missed.

Charlie is survived by her parents, Eric and Kathleen; grandparents, Robert (Lisa) Heimbigner and Jacob Hollie and Dolly Upperman; godparents, Kody and Esther Coakley as well as several great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandpa, Larry D. Balch. 

The family thanks Nationwide Children’s Hospital for all the care and compassion they gave to Charlie and her family. 

Caring Cremation® has taken place through Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
