Charles Michael Riley Sr.

Charles Michael Riley, Sr. age 68 of Bremen, died December 18, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born to the late Wilford and Hattie Ma Riley on January 27, 1953.  He retired from Hordis Brothers where he did maintenance and electrical work.  He enjoyed working on cars, fixing and tinkering with them.  Charles' personality and love for life will be greatly remembered.

He is survived by his children, Charles M. Riley II, Jeannie (Shawn) Wood, and Sue Ann (Alex Ward) Konkler; grandchildren, Corey (Courtney) Riley, Tanner (Felicia) Riley, Cierra (Joey) Miller, Jeffery (Isobell) Konkler Jr., Micheala Konkler, Austin Konkler, Lillian Ward, and Alex wood; many great grandchildren; ex wife Ruth Riley; siblings, Carlos (Cheryl) Riley and Maxine Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Leroy Riley; and brothers, Larry Gilbreath and Henry Riley; and wife, Penny Riley.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday at 11AM with calling 1 hour prior from 10AM until the time of service all at Hamburg Cemetery. Services have been arranged through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
