Charles Piper

Charles H. Piper, 84 of Lancaster, passed peacefully on Saturday November 28, 2020.

Chuck was born on February 23, 1936. He served in the Marine Corp and worked for the state as a maintenance supervisor for 30 plus years. He was an avid fisherman and loved to spend time with his family.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father Ralph Piper and Mother Addi Piper, both of Lancaster. Chuck is survived by his Loving Wife of 47 years, Sue Piper of Lancaster. Six Children; Sandra Sue Maxwell , of Carson NV, Tami Nestor of Lancaster, Kathleen (John) Husson, of Littleton, NC, Tom Spires of Rushville, Tim Spires of New Lexington, and Brenda Lewis (where abouts unknown), Many grandchildren and  Great grandchildren.

In honoring Chuck’s request, Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, and the family will have a private service with military honors at a later date.
