Charles Chuck W. Orr, age 83, of Lancaster, Died Sept. 12th, 2015 at the Arbors of Carroll. A son of the late, John J. and Alice Mae (Sharkey) Orr was born at Stonecreek, OH on Oct. 21st, 1931. Prior to his enlistment in the Korean War, Charles married the former Mary Lou Jones on December 15th, 1950. They reared four children and celebrated 64 years of marriage. He was a Mason of the 32nd Degree. He was an owner and operator of Circle Foods, Inc., which included the Famous Food Mart, Blue Drummer Steak House, Famous Recipe and Drummer Boy of Circleville and two Drummer Boy Fried Chickens in Lancaster.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou (Jones) Orr, his children, Marla (Gary) Benadum, Marlene (Mark) Sprague, Alice (Richard) Pryor, and Ronald Orr.; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Dolly) Orr; and two sisters, Betty Bowers, and Lavonda Bonnie Osterhaut.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by granddaughters, Krista Orr, and Sherry Benadum Mills; three brothers, Russell, William, and Thomas Orr; four sisters, Marguerite Orr, Marjorie Rifenbark, Katherine Cole Winkler, and Leah Lombardo.
Caring Cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. His children will have a private celebration of his life at a later date. Burial of his ashes will take place at Ragersville cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
