Charles Melosh

Charles Lewis Melosh, age 72, left on January 28, 2014, to begin his road trip home. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran with the US Air Force and a graduate of Ohio State University. He was a long time resident and business owner in central Ohio.
He is survived by daughters Dawn Melosh of Carrollton, Texas, and Detria (Lynn) Hiles of Thurston, Ohio. He was a proud Grandfather of three; Carrie Baker, Jessica Baker, and Michael Dale Lewis Hiles; two great-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Kris. His brothers and their families; Raymond (Marge) of Howell, MI; Jim (Sue) of Salem, MI; Dennis of Frederick, CO; his “family in the South” and true friends Roger and Tyson.

Charles was preceded to heaven by his parents Dorothy and Arthur Melosh, brother David, and son Carl Lynn.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 7PM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore on Tuesday, February 4 with visitation from 5-7 pm. Prayer and sharing by Rev. Alice Wolfe at 7 pm. Caring Cremation® has taken place and interment with military honors will be held this spring in Florence, SC.
