Charles Lee Matheny II

Charles Lee Matheny II age 70, passed away peacefully at home January 28,2025.

Born in Nelsonville, Ohio to Patricia Pairan and Charles Matheny.

Charles "Chuck" was a lifelong watercolor artist. He had many art shows, held his own gallery and taught art classes.

He will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, deep thoughts about life and beautiful imagination that created so many amazing masterpieces.

He is survived by his partner Sharon; his sister Patricia; his daughter Amanda Arwen Clayton (Richard Clayton); his son Colin Alexander Matheny (Mieko McMeans); grandchildren Julia Elizabeth Wynn, Jacob Eli Wynn, Maleah Edingfield (Evan Edingfield), and William Clayton.

He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Pairan; his stepfather Morton Pairan; and his father Charles Matheny.
