Charles Bill Butterbaugh, Jr., 45, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away at his home on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
He was a man among men; hunter, fisherman, loving husband, father, and son. He loved his family and would move mountains for them as well as his friends and strangers. He was a big guy with and even bigger heart.
Bill is survived by his wife, Darlene Davis Butterbaugh; daughters, Alexis L. Butterbaugh of the home and Kara Nicole Rector of Pennsylvania; mother, Pamela Brandy Rhonemus of Lancaster; father, Charles W. Butterbaugh, Sr. of Florida; brothers, Michael Butterbaugh of Lancaster and Robbie and Brian Butterbaugh of Barberton, Ohio; aunts, Kimberly Greenlee of Lancaster and Judy Canale of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and Joseph Butterbaugh; and maternal grandparents, Fred and Eva Rhonemus.
He will be greatly missed, he was loved, and he loved back. He was a true family man. We will miss you Bill, always and forever.
Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster. A service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Robert Iser of Miracle Life Church officiating. Caring Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
