Catherine McClurg

Catherine McClurg, 65, of Thurston, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015. Catherine was born January 14, 1950, in Lancaster to the late, Samuel and Bertha (Church) Mattox. She worked for 18 years at Fast Max in Baltimore.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Scott) McClurg Parrish; son, Zeke McClurg; grandchildren, Angel Parrish, Sierra McClurg, Sam (Christina) McClurg, and Brandonn McClurg; and sisters, Norma Jean Cox, Virginia (Jim) Hall of Sacramento, California, Juanita (Bob) Enderson of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, Carolyn (Larry) Hiles, Vicky (Bruce) Asmussen of San Diego, California.

Catherine was preceded in death her husband of 43 years, Gerald McClurg and her parents.

A memorial service for Catherine will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, February 12 at the Thurston United Methodist Church, 2015 Main Street Northeast, Thurston, OH 43157 with Reverend Dr. Rebeka Maples officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place with the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
