Catherine McCabe

June 7, 1928 — August 15, 2016

Catherine I. McCabe, 88, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at Crestview Manor Nursing Home.

Catherine was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Lancaster and she was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Judia) McCabe, Sr.; daughter, Esther (Otis, Sr.) Johnson; grandchildren, Robert (Dawn) McCabe, Jr., Melinda (Paul) Rollings, and Otis Johnson, Jr.; great grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Jessica, Miranda, Chloe, and Noah; great great grandchildren, Taelynn and Beaugh; sisters, Serena and Josephine; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Ruth; special friend, Frieda; and many freinds.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McCabe; her parents; sisters; and a brother.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery, 300 S. Mt Pleasant Ave, Lancaster.

Catherine’s family would like to thank all of the staff at Crestview Manor and FairHoPe Hospice who provided her with such loving care.
