Carolyn Sue Bachman 74 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at her home. She was a retired custodian for Liberty Union School District with 26 years of service.
She attended Harvest Christian Community Church in Pickerington, member of the Baltimore Lions Club for 16 years of which she served as the club secretary. She was District 13K first lady and served on the Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank Lions Board. Sue was a Liberty Twp. Fire Department dispatcher and volunteered for Guiding Angels.
Sue is survived by her husband of 55 years, George Bachman; son, Douglas Bachman of Lancaster, Ohio; daughters, Rebecca (Paul) Gassman of Newark, Ohio and Tina (James) Jasper of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Troy Edward Bachman, P. J., Gregg (Mary) and Tommy (Erin) Gassman, Jonathon and Jamie Jasper; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Bryson and Patrick; brothers, Ernest “Terry” Edward (Sharon) Bolin, Jr. of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Steven (Pat) Bolin of Carroll, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Geraldine Bolin, Sr., grandson, Jason Charles Edward Bachman and brother, Larry Bolin.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Pastor Ed Wright officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and the Lions will hold a memorial service Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
