Caroline J. (Beatty) Wiseman

Caroline J. Wiseman 86 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Pickering House.

She was a waitress at many places including Jimmy’s Drive In.  She enjoyed reading, walking her canine companion “Spooky”.

Caroline is survived by her husband of 34 years, Henry Wiseman; son, Ralph “Ed” Shrider of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter, Jolynn Casto of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Angela Bennett, Gina Casto, Meredith (Mikael) Schilb and Philip (Jennifer) Shrider; great grandchildren, Drayton Dishon, Luna Bennett, Damon Smith, Lilly Smith, Vivian Schilb and Coral Shrider; three step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; step-children, Floyd L. (Anita) Wiseman of Baltimore, Ohio, Bill (Valerie) Wiseman of Lancaster, Ohio, Beverly J. (Wardell) Stokes of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Linda K. (Mike) Siler of Lancaster, Ohio; sister, Janice (Jim) Vickroy of Lancaster, Ohio; brother, Gary (Betty) Beatty of Port Charlotte, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Elizabeth Beatty, sisters, Marge Agosta, Shirley Beatty and Linda Poling, brother, Robert Bray and step-son, Henry Wiseman.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating.  A live broadcast of the funeral service will be hosted on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. on the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.  Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. In accordance with state mandates, COVID protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed.
