Carlton “Geno” Halterman, II 59 of Whitehall, Ohio passed away at his residence on Monday, June 17, 2013. He worked for McGraw Hill Corp. and prior to that worked at Rod Hatfield LLC.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Smith Halterman; daughter, Crystal Terry of Lancaster, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; brother, James Halterman of South Dakota; sisters, Carol Roussell and Jeri Brady both of Florida; father-in-law, Francis Smith of Lancaster, Ohio; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Crystal Smith of canal Winchester, Ohio, Cindy (Chris) Sevenoff of Baltimore, Ohio, Holly (Sean) Overly, Christopher Smith and Angie (Tim) Smith all of Lancaster, Ohio; friends, Shawn McMullen, Ron Reese and Denny Walker; many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Mary Halterman, son Robbie Smith and mother-in-law, Clara E. Smith.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATSER, OHIO 43130. A memorial service will be announced later.
