Carlene Frazier

Carlene Jane Frazier 84 of Lancaster, Ohio and a former resident of Newark, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Licking County, Ohio on December 9, 1931 to the late Samuel and Neva (Backus) McMannis. She worked for Snyder Electric and later in the seafood dept. of Kroger on East Main Street. She was a long time member of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.

Carlene is survived by her son, Allen R. (Dixie) Frazier of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Marlene Frazier of Nelsonville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason (Misty) Frazier, Christopher (Kim) Frazier and Rebecca Lynn Frazier; great-grandchildren, Jerrard, Jonas, Kalib and Tori; sister, Linda (Marvin) Irwin of Missouri; brother, Max (Mary Ann) McMannis of Newark, Ohio; sister-in-law, Phyllis Frazier of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Frazier, sons, Jeffrey, Alex and Andrew Frazier, parents, brother, Phillip McMannis, sisters, Samuella McMannis and Marlene Park and brother-in-law, Tom Park.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
