Carl Blosser, Jr

Carl R. “Jethro” Blosser, Jr., 55, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010.

Carl was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked 21 years for Anchor Hocking. He loved his Harley and traveled halfway around the world on it. He also loved hunting and fishing.

Carl is survived by his wife, Penny J. Blosser; mother, Betty L. Blosser; children, Jeremy Wheeling, Robert (Tabby) McDole, Jody (Jack) Mowery, and Laurel Jarvis; grandchildren, Shaylee McDole, Abby and Jack Mowery, and Brock Wheeling; sister, Carla (Gary) Goodman; special nephew, Gary Lee “Bud” Goodman; brother-in-law, Danny Bigham; sisters-in-law, Rita Osborn, Carol (Bob) Minard, Dale (Jeff) Lutz, and Charlotte Rizer; special cousin, George Cruit of Texas and many other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; a multitude of great friends; and devoted companions, Chevy and Maggie May.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Richard Blosser, Sr.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 3-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation will follow the services and burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
