Capitola Hines

Capitola “Cappie” Hines, 64, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center.

Cappie was a 15 year cancer survivor. She worked many years at Cornerstone Café and Main Event. She was a loving grandmother to her 5 grandchildren.

Cappie is survived by her children, Shelly (Stephen) Niemann, Buddy (Christy) Hines, and Angel Griffith; grandchildren, Grant Niemann, Madison Niemann, Landon Dupler, Katelyn Hines, and Charles Hines IV; siblings, Charles (Roberta) Milliser, Scout Milliser, Carl (Carolyn) Milliser, Eva Anthony, Mary Lou Hall, and Josephine Morgan; boyfriend, George Groves; and many nieces and nephews.

Cappie was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Eugene Eveland, Jr.; parents, Charles and Wanda Milliser; and siblings, Franklin Milliser, Daisy Steen, Patience Swain, Jim Thorn, Shirley Green, and Benny Milliser.

Funeral service for Cappie will be at 10:00 am Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Pastor Dave Dilger officiating. Family and friends may visit from 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation will follow and committal will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
