C. Edwin McLaughlin

C. Edwin McLaughlin, 96, of Rushville, passed away at his home on Monday, June 9, 2014.

Edwin was born March 23, 1918, and was a lifelong farmer in Rushville. He was married to his wife, Wahnetta on July 2, 1977. He was a member of the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.

Edwin is survived by his nephew, Don Nickerson of Manito, Illinois; nieces, Marcia Howard of Sun City, Arizona and Jerilee Nickerson of Pacific Palisades, California; 7 great nieces and nephews; and 8 great great nieces and nephews.

Edwin was preceded in death by his wife, Wahnetta McLaughlin in 2006; parents, Charles W. and Emma (Love) McLaughlin; sister, Frances Nickerson; and brother, Ralph McLaughlin.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Pastor Brad Seevers officiating. Burial will follow in West Rushville Cemetery. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
