Broadrick "Rick" Bowers

Broadrick “Rick” Bowers, 69, passed away at his home on June 24, 2015. He was a 1963 graduate of Mifflin High School. Rick retired from Ameritech after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the local corvette club and an avid Columbus Blue Jackets and Ohio State University fan.

Rick is survived by his children, Kim (Doug) Sipes, Brian (Dee Dee) Bowers, and Brent (Sheila) Bowers; grandchildren, Brad, Graham, Chris, Greg, Sidney, Gabi, and Garrett; siblings, Sharon Baird, Dedee Garwood, and Randy Bowers; special friends, Jane Drake and Lonnie and Donna Kosch; mother of his children, Sunny Herron; and his girls, Paddy and Darby.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Elizabeth “Bette” Bowers and his parents, James Bowers and Almetta (Bryant) Neal.
