Brian Leroy Smith 49 of Athens, Ohio former resident of Lancaster, Ohio died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on October 8, 1963 in Newark, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Clara Mae Siegle Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Smith; sisters Debbie Miller of Lancaster, Ohio, Christyann (William) Drake of Lancaster, Ohio and Angie Waldie of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers, Bruce Allen Smith of Nelsonville, Ohio and Tony (Tonya) Smith of Lancaster, Ohio; girl friend, Dawn Murphy; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jeffrey Smith and Jimmy Smith.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Bible Holiness Church, 212 Angle St., Bremen, Ohio 43105 with Pastor Marvin Shipman officiating. Caring cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial to be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio at a later date.
