Brent E. Smith

Brent E. Smith, of Lancaster, passed away on April 4, 2025 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Earl and Catherine Smith on March 8, 1960 in Stockport, OH.

Brent very much enjoyed music, playing the guitar, singing, and hunting. He had a passion for cooking and loved to share that passion with his children.

He is survived by his children, Storie (Benjie) Colopy, Joshua (Trisha) Smith, and Charidy (Michael Preston) Smith; grandchildren, Marissa, Jaden, Brenden, Wyman, and Sonya; long-time companion, Sue Bowers; and brother, Rick Smith.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Melvin and Dale; and parents.

A funeral service officiated by pastor William Syfert will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43105 at 12 PM. Family and friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Caring Cremation® will follow.
