Brandon Kemmerling

Brandon Thomas Dale “Lil B” Kemmerling, 19, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Brandon touched many lives and was loved by all who knew him. He was a graduate of Logan High School, Class of 2011. He enjoyed playing soccer and baseball, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He loved working with his brother at Gates of Terror. Brandon always wanted to be a psychologist.

Brandon is survived by his mom, Mindy Kemmerling; father, Richard (special friend, Neysha Thornsley) Kemmerling; brother, Cody Kemmerling; grandparents, Michael and Linda Huber and Joe and Diana Myers; aunts and uncle, Jenni Sullivan and Barry and Sandy Axe; cousins, Hunter and Logan Axe; many aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend, Luke Artrip; many other great friends; and beloved pets, Pumpkin, Warrior, Brit, Maggie, and Duke.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandpa, Thomas Kemmerling; and his great grandparents.

Funeral service will take place at 8 pm Thursday at Blessings Memorial Church, 980 Woodland Ave, Lancaster, Ohio. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at the church with a dove release at 4:00 pm. Caring Cremation will follow with the Frank E Smith Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, who have given Brandon such loving care for so many years.

Donations may be made to the Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation or to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, J5 Cancer Unit in Brandon’s memory.
