Bonita Mauger

March 9, 1921 — October 10, 2011


Bonita E. Mauger, age 90 of Baltimore, OH, passed away Monday evening October 10th, 2011 at the Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. She was a former member of the Mt. Zion United Church of Christ and is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3761. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Webb of Lois Center, and Deborah (David) Trego of Delaware; sons, Robert (Mona) Stonerook of Hopewell, Curtis (Kay) Mauger of Pataskala; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Gove of Wellington, OH; sisters-in-law, Diane Watters of Norwalk, Virginia Watters of Baltimore and Thelma Maugers of Pickerington; and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to everyone at the Tuscany Gardens Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Mauger; son, Leo Stonerook; parents, Leo and Bess Watters; brothers, Lee, Ron, and Thomas Watters; and sisters, Eleanor Jenkins and Shirley Martin.
A service will take place on Friday at 10:30AM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Violet Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Memorials can be made in her name to the Ladies Auxiliary 2155 Reynoldsburg-Baltimore Rd.
